The
EPAC Heritage Pole Top Luminaire is of traditional design and for
utilization primarily in residential sub division streetlighting, but
additionally lends itself to parkways and main street ornamental lighting. Canopy,
panel cage and slipfitter are of cast aluminum alloy and cupola is of spun
aluminum, all finished in matte black long life Polene.
True and efficient IES distribution patters are obtained through
use of an internal
acrylic prismatic refractor.
For protection of the refractor
and lamp, outer panels are of impact resistant U.V. stabilized
Polycarbonate either diffuse or clear or combination of both as may be
specified. The
canopy is hinged form the panel cage and secured by a captive thumbscrew
for ease of initial wiring and lamp replacement.
Lamp ballasting is integral and within the slipfitter casting and
is high power factor (90%+) constant wattage.
Lamp sockets are high grade porcelain shrouded, with nickel plated
brass anti-vibration shells and spring loaded tips. Slipfitter
is designed to slip fit a 3" (76 mm) diameter tenon 2 1/2" (62
mm) or longer.
Levelling and securing of slipfitter to tenon is provided by tree
plated hexagon socket head dog point set screws. In the interest of aesthetics, mounting height greater than 15 feet (4.6 meters) is not recommended. NOTE:
For inclusion of a 6612A EPAC Eye-Pac Photoelectric Control on units with
twistlock P.E.C. receptacles
add a suffix "P" to the catalogue number.
