EPAC - Multiple Street Lighting Relays

EPAC relays are designed to provide years of maintenance free control of multiple street lighting circuits with a choice of voltage / current ratings and other options to meet your specific needs. These relays are available both in the mercury contactor and the open type load contactor; either normally open or normally closed. 

The corrosion resistant aluminum housing provides maximum protection against adverse weather and contaminated conditions. A removable cover, which can be supplied plain or with a twistlock receptacle for a photocell, allows the load fuse to be easily accessible.

MERCURY CONTACTOR TYPE MERC-PAC

Contact is made in a pressurized inert gas environment which extinguishes arcing contributing to long contact life.  As mercury is self- renewing, a new contact surface is provided with  each actuation.  Large electrode and mercury volume creates low contact resistance.

• Temperature range: -35°C to +60°C

• Pull-in voltage: 80% of rated voltage

OPEN TYPE LOAD CONTACTOR TYPE VERSI-PAC

Contactor is magnetic shaded pole type, low burden.  The contacts are silver cadmium oxide.

• Life expectancy: 100,000 operations

• Temperature range: -55°C - +45°C

• Pull-in voltage: 80% of rated voltage

• Weight: 2 3/4 lbs.

NOTE: 

• For potting compounded units add “H” to part number
